help coding LSMC and RSMC

So about a week ago my LSMC fried from rain. Decided to take both headlights apart and mod them with new rings and some paint. I bought a used module and a used projector assembly which has the left right motor on it off ebay. 2 days ago I had Joe try to code both modules. The right side worked fine all directions but was slower to move than left side. The left side would only move up and down, and was stuck in the far right position. WTF...we couldn't figure it out. So i said maybe i got a bad module off ebay. I have another one coming and was supposed to be here today but never came....stupid USPS...hopefully tomorrow. Anyway i Went outside today to mess with coding. Maybe today will be different i thought....boy was i wrong....I coded left side.....IT MOVED LEFT TO RIGHT! WAHOO!!! then i noticed the right side would move right when i clicked left in INPA and right when i clicked left....wtf.....so i coded right side.....same thing happened.....i started cycling through the different positions in INPA. Then all of a sudden BOTH lights would only move up and down....OMG!! they were also both stuck in right position. So i thought let me switch the modules, since i read somewhere that the left is the master. I recoded both....started up and did its up down motion, went into INPA and WTF......same exact thing, let side is fine, right side does opposite, started cycling through positions in INPA and then both stop working left and right, only go up and down. I don't know what else to try. I check all the pins, cleaned them and applied dielectric grease. Also before i coded anything the right side worked perfectly. Left side didnt. but i thought it as just a coding issue. Joe told me that ISTA could run some tests? How do i do that? Please help me. This is really annoying... When i had the headlights opened I couldn't remember which position the cutoff line adjustment thing (see pic) was in. Also these are the codes i get. I got 9CBF and 9CC0 once but always get 9CC1 and 9CC2 (see pic). I would say it could be the motors, But they work....for a short time... Sorry for the long post. Let me know if anymore info is needed. Last thing done coding wise was my CIC retrofit

In my experience, the adaptive headlights will do some funky stuff if you replace either SMC modules and not recode the NFRM because it still has values stored from your old modules.

You mentioned that you lasted coded a CIC retrofit. I'm assuming you changed your VO to reflect the LCI build date? If so, that would explain why you suddenly have cornering lights after coding the NFRM. It's because you now have a LCI build date in your VO and when you default code your NFRM or any other module, it's going to code them using LCI values. The stepper motors in pre-lci and lci headlights are very different so this is probably why your adaptive lights are acting up.

You need to change the build date in your VO back to your original one or one of a pre-lci then recode your NFRM and SMC modules.

http://codinge90.com/ncs-expert-how-...vehicle-order/

Just don't use NCS expert to specifically code the CIC and it won't be affected.
