BMW N52 Euro Intake Question

Does anyone know the difference between the part #13717552437 and #13717555287 ? There isn't much online about the #13717555287 but it appears to be the same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

13717552437 Seems to be for the Asian market only. As they are quite strict on emissions I would lean towards the European model number.

So you do think there is definitely some difference in functionality between the two?

If one is restrictive for emissions, it means exactly that... probably not nearly as good a flow as the euro spec. just go with the auto, my fren.

I don't think there is any difference between them that matters when retrofitting. When I was searching for mine, I found both, and came to the conclusion that the part number didn't matter. I believe (99% sure) that the different part number is there because the intake came in two configurations which utilized different MAFS/IATS.. the part numbers just differentiate between the sensor, which you will not use anyway with your US Spec vehicle (you'll re-use your stock sensor). Hope this helps. If you search you'll find a thread I created on just this kinda stuff..

Cheers,
aM
