Goodwood Festival of Speed
Is anyone going this year and for those who have been before what are your advice to get the most out of a trip there.
The only reason I ask is because I have got 11 of us going as part of my best mates (Uk - we are also doing a trip to the ring as a group of 6) stag do on the Saturday. I have never been to the FOS so any advice on what to not miss etc would be much appreciated. Last edited by RENT-A-GOAT; 02-24-2016 at 12:31 PM.. |

Saturday is the best day. As mentioned be the first there. This way you park near a particular gate and plenty of time to look around without rushing. I go every year and the last few I took the kids, not easy when they are young. Take plenty of money since things are not cheap. It will be fun but never heard going there as part of a stag do.

Cheers for the info. Yeah it is a random thing for a stag its the UK one and needed to have a tame and memorable day mixed with another of activity and drinking as the point of the UK one was to allow for the Stags Father and Future Father in law and some other older relatives the option to be part of something not so messy that they could enjoy.
So its Goodwood a drive on to brighton for a meal and beers with a surprise meet up with a few of the Stags relatives he doesn't see that often but happen to be there visiting friends landing the day of Goodwood so cant do that (they are Kiwis). Then the following day some activities yet to be confirmed and a messy night out. Should be a good craic and different to the main event which is a road trip to the Ring with some things here and there on the way. |

I'm going. I think I left around 7am from Watford with a severe hangover. Got there around 830 and it wasn't too bad getting in.
Items not to forget: suncream and a hat. |

We're going to this as well on the Saturday, we'll be leaving from West Dulwich. Is an arrival time of 8am reasonable or should we plan to get there earlier?
