Does anyone have a roof box they fancy hiring to me in August ?

Hi all ,have been busy sorting out everything for the usual family holiday , and the one thing that has occurred to me is when we get back,it's going to be quite a squeeze having 5 of us plus luggage in my E90 ,
So had a thought of asking on here, would any of our esteemed members have a roof box (and roof rack if I need one lol ) that they would fancy hiring out to me for between August 12th to August 28th this year ? I am guessing the larger the better as ideally would need to fit minimum two large cases in .
I am based in Birmingham but obviously happy to travel , no problems leaving a deposit so you know it will be coming back to you lol ,but cannot justify buying the kit for a two week holiday as usually we holiday separately ,any thoughts ideas welcome as I am stuck how else to make it work as we fly from Gatwick , if you do have a roof box and could maybe help please drop me a PM , cheers all,Dennis .

Have you checked ebay and Gumtree? A roof box strikes me as something you might get for a bargain as I can't imagine there would be much bidding, hassle of collection e.t.c.

I took a random Birmingham postcode and there's a couple of possibles. Plus people renting them on ebay too.

Cheers for the reply chap,weirdly enough. I had a look just after posting this,and found some roof bars I am collecting tomorrow so that's all good, I just don't want to buy a roof box for a one off,then having to store it if I bought one so seemed best to borrow one,will have a look on eBay hiring now thanks .

If you were able to buy one on the cheap then flog it on when you're done. Might be cheaper than renting.

I've got some genuine bmw roof bars, and 570litre roof box.

Hello chap , thanks for replying , would that be to borrow or for sale ? , I managed to get some roof bars from gumtree the other week,so just on the hunt for a roof box :-),cheers .

I managed to get the 415Litre Autoplas one cheap from eBay been chuffed with that.
