N55 Vs N54

Hi, I’ve been looking into getting my first car and really wanted to 335 because of the performance capabilities. I really like the N 54 because they can make a lot of power on stock turbos, but I’ve seen a lot of problems come from them. The n55 seems to have a lot less problems and sound much better, but makes so much less power. On a PWG and N55 how much can you make with a custom tune stock turbos. Ik for an N54 it’s almost 450whp+. I just haven’t seen anyone post about the N55 pwd E9X custom tune on stock turbos. Thanks!

As 1st car mosr bmws would be poor choice , especially n54 e90.
