How much was your E9X when you brought it and what's it worth now?

I brought mines in April of 2019 when it had 67k miles for $8,000 flat. No tax or anything since I brought it from the first owner.

It's worth anywhere from $8,303-$10,500 per KBB private party.

Car is sitting at 72,500 miles as of yesterday.

Mine was $33,500 new in 2006. KBB says now $4,350. Not sure I got my money's worth out of it

You've got like 400k miles on yours.

I hope I can get at least 200k out of mines

Mine listed for $46,400, and Cars for Kidz offered to haul it away if I paid them $300.

j/k online says my car is worth $8k (trade in). Sorry but I'll keep it for that.

edit btw I only got $1700 off list price so I paid in the 44's, and I consider it money very well spent

I think that I was out the door for $12k when I bought it in ‘16. KBB has given it a little bump this year in value.

I purchased my E93 335i in July of 2020.....also for $8k flat, with 78k miles on it. It had new turbos @ ~ 56k, new battery, waterpump and thermostat @ 75k and a complete service history since the initial purchase. It's currently sitting @ 88,600 miles and seems to be worth $9,710 according to my carfax app....that's private party value.

I've been offered more than KBB (average) for my car as well.

I bought mine in July '20 for $4k CAD. It cost me $900CAD to have it shipped to NS from ON. KKB.ca lists it for between $7331 and $8546. I'm ok with that.

Market here in Canada is different. By US standards I probably overpaid. Paid about $2K USD. 160k miles at time of purchase. One owner though, and dealership serviced till the day it was traded.

Average build. Premium with leatherette. Automagic. Xenon lights etc but no CA and no adaptive (just auto-levelling). Cosmetically okay other than rust on hood from shitty prior repair (fender bender).

Since then I’ve put about $7500 into it, but that includes some things that were completely unnecessary (looking at your rear diff), as well as items that I’ll be able to use with my next E90. So if I normalize the expenses, I’ve probably put about $6k USD into it over my four years of ownership.

So, what could I get for it if I sold it today? Honestly, probably about 3k USD. What will I actually do? Keep it, and probably take all the good parts to use on my next car.

Edit: LemansE90335xi , what kind of shape and mileage? Sounds like a great price.

Oh boy. 2011 335xi with sport, bought in 2014 for 34K. 8K worth of front end damage (paid by insurance), lots of work under warranty, thousands in upgrades, thousands in repair, thousands in cracked rims and run flats. Busted knuckles, blood, sweat, tears. I love this car and will never part with it.

How? Like some random guy offered you more money or something

I remember I listed mines for $10k (just to see what kind of offers I'd get).

The car sat on Facebook marketplace and offer up for like 2 months.

Nobody hit me up

It's in very good shape inside and out. It's quite well optioned but not full load (single hump dash, no CA). It had 162K kms when I bought it, 165k now. I had to replace the VC and I'm replacing the shocks and struts. They're toast. Other than that it works great, no codes, no WGR and it pulls hard... 0-100km is a consistent 4.4 sec measured with Track Addict app on my phone. I'm the third owner and I have all the maintenance history from new. I'm quite happy with it. I think I got a great deal.

Sticker price was $51,670 new (sticker still in glove box). I paid $6000 for it a year ago with 108,000 k miles. Worth now - well kind of priceless-since I am digging the car very much. Total upkeep costs thus far....$30 for a driver side running light, some TLC, one Run Flat tire..and $40 for a valve gasket I will need to change and need to order a $40 lfps so I can clear the sensor code. So, eventually $6110 in her (after I order a sensor) plus a tire 😀

"Free Lifetime powertrain warranty" BULLSHIT

Sticker price of mines was $46,150. Only option I am missing is the I-drive (good I don't like that anyways), parking sensors, and the sunshades.

I put about $2,489 in repairs since I brought the car in 2019.

Surprisingly, my car increased in value since the last time I checked.

I ran a KBB Private party value 4 months ago. Value ranged from $7,708-$9,809.

Interesting
