leather reconditioning
Anyone know of a good leather reconditioning company?
I have some slight wear on my drivers bolster. Anyone know whether the reconditioning process can replicate the grain pattern on the leather or will it go smooth when they paint on new leather paint? |

Larry from Ammo NYC used them in his Audi R8 to great effect. |

...and they're not in the UK. There are seat repair people in the UK... but I'm just not sure about this issue with obtaining the correct finish? How was that done originally and will it come back the same way after restoration? I only have a small bit on my drivers seat which requires work and it's going to look a bit odd if one seat is smooth and the rest are original!

You might try contacting ColourLock - their products are amazing and I'm sure they'd point you in the right direction as they're a UK-based outfit. |

I've been using Lexol on my coral red, works pretty well. I'm sure there are better products out there but I doubt with the same availability as Lexol. Another thing is our leather has a plastic coating over top, most of the time conditioning won't do much.
