Yeah, it's the original clutch too - I try not to beat on it too much. I only need 1 shift to 70mph, so it doesn't make all that much difference anyway.

That's impressive, that'll put a big smile on my face if I can achieve the same.

managed to repeat it - here's a better screenshot, still working out the kinks in the log viewer:

This wasn't even taking off in a straight line - I was turning left. Funny, I must be used to it because it doesn't seem that fast to me.

BTW I double checked and the vehicle speed is the true speed, not the +5% that you see on the speedometer. I think even if there's inaccuracy somehow in this log, it couldn't be more than 1/2 of a second. +1 for MILVS.

4.5s seems too quick for an E90 330i, even with a tune. Unless slight incline?

I don't disagree (it does seem too quick), but it was definitely flat - out on the river delta.

Yay a good log graphing tool. I've been wondering about that lately - I tried logging with Carly but it was unclear how to actually view it easily.

This is using Dylan's new program? I'd check the clock. It's too fast.

Try a 60 second log against your stop watch, just to be sure.

Wow Hass, how do I achieve the same thing you're doing? Though I have AA, I noticed you're doing your own tune and hooking up to the car on your own tools. How do I follow suit? Is it share-able to benefit the fellow N52'ers?

You do the same thing as me by spending 3 years building your own software tools for tuning.

I want to have some sort of 'self tune' option but not just yet.

also, yes I think the time scale is a bit shorter than reality on that log. I bet it's a lot closer to 5-5.5s. They're looking into fixing the time in the logs meanwhile.

Happy and sad,

Glad you figured out the problem, sad you're not that fast, yet.....

With your maff less tune, can you still log air flow? I'd like to confirm the value I've used is a measured value and not calculated.

Thanks

Yes, it does report air mass. I'm sure its calculated, rather than measured. But I first did that tune in February 2017, and its been flawless ever since, so it must be relatively accurate.

Buy These Things.

I found the valvetronic spring compressor/removal tool on Alibaba from china. for under $150 shipped. Not the 'vise grip' style tool.
This tool makes install and dealing with the spring a breeze.
I'm thinking about getting a few to loan out for installs.
Any thoughts or ideas.

I still don't understand what is the big deal with installation? It was straight forward.
