19x8.5 ET40 Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus 245/35R19 No spacer 19x10 ET33 Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus 275/30R19 5mm spacer The rear barely rubs if I'm going diagonally up a steep driveway, but hardly any other time. I imagine the 275 DWS06+ has a lot to do with it because of the thick sidewalls. Without the spacer I never rubbed even once. My rear suspension seems to have given out on my drivers side too, so it should be as low as M Sport lol. Could probably run the spacer with more camber (m3 control arms) or just run it without the spacer. The photo from the rear on the drivers side doesn't do it much justice. Being on a hill, all of the weight was shifted up front, so it's not down to it's true ride height. Edit: Removed 5mm spacer from specs for accuracy of reference photos. I don't have a 5mm spacer in the front, although a 5mm spacer would fix the spacing and would make it flush. The 5mm spacers I'm using on the rear in these photos used to be up front and I know it is the correct spacer to use. Some pics for reference:

Kit Includes - 72.5 bore 5x120 5mm aluminum spacer - 12x1.5x35mm conical seat wheel bolts The tires are great. Have had them on since December. No snow but have gotten plenty of rainy driving in. Grip much better than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S I had previously on my VB3 18x8.5 setup, although I drove those till the inner wire was showing, so the last couple months I had them on might have tainted my recollection of those tires, as I know when I first got them put on I loved them. I also had Fuzion UHP Sport A/S on the front, so it was never a completely balanced setup, which could also have influence on my experience with that setup. The DWS06+ handles well around corners although I still haven't laid it all out yet. Been driving a little more moderate lately due to now living in an area that's strict on spirited driving and doesn't really have any fun roads. That plus I've been driving less. I would say these tires are great all around though. Much better for all season than the alternative tires in this size, which seem to be summer tires for the most part. |
