Question Occasional long crank after new HPFP

Hello,

New member here. I have an '08 335 that has been great to me. I already did entire cooling system refresh, windshield seals new tires & RB PCV. Bought with 74k now has 108k. I have lots of service history, but don't see HPFP replacement in it's life. Recently, I was getting long crank and once it started and then died with throttle application. I figured it was time for a HPFP. Got a new one from FCP, but the car sat for a bit waiting for a break in the weather here in Cali. When I went to move it to start the job it ran very rough and threw CEL. I got a P0335 code, so I ordered a new crank sensor. So I do the crank sensor, HPFP, valve cover gasket and walnut blast all in the same day. Starts right up and runs great. However, I will occasionally get a long crank, not real long, but longer thank normal. I have not gotten ISTA or any real coding going yet, that is next on my list. It has index 7 injectors and a newish alternator. new plugs and coils. Should I look at perhaps the tank fuel pump next?

Thank You,
John

I have not replaced the battery. Same one I got with the car almost 2 years ago.
