I've been using the Boostane octane booster fairly consistently since about the beginning of February and while I haven't had any issues (yet), I'm wondering if anyone has experienced any issues with long term use of it? I'm using it because I upgraded to a PS2 at the beginning of the year and want a consistent way to increase octane for timing and boost. It's easier the dump in 7oz per tank of 92 octane at each fill up, rather than trying to find and mix E85. I am working on setting up a WMI setup but for cooling not increased octane.

I'm interested in this too. e85 is available but hard on the fueling system, 100oct is available but $150/tank...boostane seems like a great all-around solution to CA's 91oct problem (I'd want 95+)

Octane boosters are notorious for creating build up on the plugs and o2 sensors. I have used one bottle of Boostane myself but wouldn't plan to use it consistently. I wouldn't consider one bottle enough to come up with any data but when I changed my plugs they looked fine.

People say build up this and build up that for years..... But...... there have been zero cases of anything going bad. It's just the colour people dont like. It is the exact same as carbon buildup. People have been using it daily in lots of vehicles and no issues have ever come up except a 02 sensor and some spark plugs here and there. I have run it for 2 years straight because I have no access to e85 in Canada where I live. It has causes zero issues. It works great! Use it

Good to know and thanks for the reply. I like that I can pre-measure it into a smaller container, throw it in the trunk (it's not a haz-mat so shouldn't be an issue) and when I fill-up I have the same octane as the previous tank, and I tuned for using it.

Who's arguing? I simply asked about any negative long term issues as I'm "new" to using it and 1 person (sbuchana12) responded that they have been using it for 2 years without issue. Kinda hard to argue about his experience. Next.

I've been using Boostane for around 6 months. Only around 2,000 miles. No problems with plug deposits and running catless so no O2 issues.
I'm using 32oz per tank (14 gal.) Oregon gas so 92 octane on a 2009 BMW 135i.
FBO, RB2s, 5" FMIC, Stage 2 fuel pump setup. Dynojet tune and MHD. With 20psi saw 430whp and 525wtq. Seems like a big disparity between whp and wtq. ??? Anyone see similar figures?

I used it for roughly 600-800 Miles and when i took my downpipes off my entire turbo and cat was covered in thick orange sout, not good
