Scanners: foxwell vs Zurich
I currently have a nt510. I bought my son in law a nt530 with ford and Toyota for Christmas. I just found out his dad got him a Zurich 11s from harbor freight. I can't find any comparison online. Do they compare at all?

Never heard of this Zurich scanner but Foxwell is well established and very capable machine, especially when you have the car specific software on it.
Many guys here use Foxwell, and there is lot of discussion on it. Last edited by Wolf 335; 01-18-2023 at 07:00 AM.. |

Right. Which is why I bought it. The Zurich is a harbor freight unit and I can't find any real info on it. I use the foxwell. I was more looking to see how the compare so I can talk to him since he will have both Sunday.

The Zurich is loaded with pretty much all auto manufacturers. I know it can do different types of batteries but I don't think it can do the keys or injectors like the NT530. I was a little disappointed that the NT530 can be hard to do updates and will only do AGM batteries, but it has saved me a lot of money over the last 1.5 years. Bottom line, a scan tool can point you in the right direction but you still have to be able to do the work.
