This could be a million things. Without codes from a good scanner it's too hard to tell. Go get it diagnosed by a bmw pro.

Odd really odd. Have you cleared the codes and tried to start it again if you can. Even so it seams like the car dosent know the problem. wich makes it really hard to diagnose.

Mabey check your battery voltage it should throw a code of its too low but who knows.

Have you tried unplugging the ESS all together and starting the car. It just opens the valve’s all the way and resorts to throttle control using the throttle body. It shouldn’t be that since you just changed it but maybe it could be that.

You may have to resort to this. Considering the car doesn’t know what’s happening.

Neither the cylinder 3 misfire, nor the Small Tank Leak, would prevent the engine from firing. If those are the ONLY fault codes in DME Fault Memory, then the Fuel Pump becomes the next suspect. What Modules can your Scan Tool "Connect to" & read Fault codes and Live Data from? Be aware that many "entry-level" scan tools in $35 range can ONLY connect to/ Read Faults in/ Live Data FROM the DME or Engine Control Module.

1) What Make/Model Scan Tool do you have? Any Diagnostic Software (INPA/ISTA)?
2) Anything that can activate the Fuel Pump?
3) A cheap Multimeter ($7 HFT, $12 Amazon)?
4) When & How did "Crank, NO Start" begin? Any flood/water issues? Please supply as much detail as you think MAY be pertinent.

YOU have to provide the DATA for Forum Members to be able to DIAGNOSE the issue. We can suggest next steps with whatever tools you have. A Multimeter is MANDATORY. Just a cheap one, NOT a "Professional" model.

BTW, new hood struts are only ~ $25 from Amazon, and takes 10 to 20 minutes to replace if you have a clamp for the strut you are NOT currently replacing.

He's from Fresno area, don't expect new hood struts anytime soon. Like George asked. What are you using to scan. The basic obd Bluetooth to phone scanners are not good. They miss things that bmw specific tools don't. You are getting basic P codes. Not enough.

I use the “innova scant oil with abs $105)
I have a mutimeter
I was driving it for like 30 minutes and when I got home just started up if I gassed and keep rpm’s up would stay on but now it will start up and die right after no flood issues or water issues nothing bad happened to it idk why it’s doing that. I checked my Mass airflow sensor and it’s good I changed my esentric shaft sensor so that’s good

That's consistent with an issue with fuel pump, tank hose, pressure regulator or other fuel delivery issue. If you had INPA, ISTA, or some Scan Tool or Diagnostic Software that could "Activate" or "Turn ON/ Power" the fuel pump we could test it without taking anything apart. However there are always other ways to test fuel rail pressure and pump operation.

I'm NOT familiar with INNOVA products (where I live, in Northern VA, "INNOVA" is a hospital system ;-), so I went online and I see INNOVA 5210 being sold by Advance Auto for $105. Whatever YOUR Model is, you can download a manual from this site if you can't find yours:
https://www.innova.com/pages/download

Just glancing at the Advance Auto Ad, it would appear that the 5210 CANNOT (1) activate the Fuel Pump or (2) read any Fault Codes or Live Data in the EKPS (Fuel Pump Module).

FIRST thing I would suggest doing is checking the correct manual for your INNOVA Model, and determining if it can do either of those things. Let us know what you find, or any questions you have, and we can then suggest "Next Steps". When you post back, please indicate:

1) If you have wire or patch cables (alligator clips, spade terminals, or female sockets for spade terminals). We will need to identify the TWO wires that run from the EKPS to the fuel pump (no need to remove seat cushion or open fuel tank) and apply battery power & ground to those two wires.

2) If you have a Pressure Gauge which can be attached to the Fuel Rail Schrader Valve to read fuel pressure. If you do NOT, you can probably use one via the "Loaner Tool" program of AutoZone or Advance Auto.

3) Be aware that there is a 15-year, 150,000 mile warranty on certain N51 systems & components, and IF you had an issue INSIDE the Fuel tank that might be covered. So the idea is to DIAGNOSE the issue yourself sufficiently to determine if there is a Fuel Delivery Issue, and if so, what your mileage is, and IF covered by Extended Warranty.

4) For "Future Issues", please indicate if you have a Windows Laptop, or any type of Android Device. If you DO, there are solutions for HALF of what the INNOVA 5210 cost, that can do MUCH MORE. Most Folks are "happy as a clam" with whatever they have 'cuz they have NO IDEA what they are missing, and all the Product Reviews & "Ratings" support that.

That assessment is based upon personal experience. I started with a $35 Autel 319, entry-level P-code Reader (can ONLY connect to DME) and now use both INPA & ISTA. I already had Laptop, so $50 BimmerGeeks K+DCAN Cable was ONLY expense to download, install & USE INPA/ISTA.

The Innova scanner is not bmw specific. You are only getting p codes.
