Anyone fitted Tein Springs to a e90

Think i have a broken spring so in the market for some new ones , came across these on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-Seri...item1e97ee3422

Anyone have any experience of them ? I know they are quite big players in the Japanese market but , not seen anything for BMW before now.

Had them on jap cars, been relatively firm. The drop of these seem bang on front to rear. Im interested.

Having a look at the spring rates and they seem well judged.

Coil spring rate * Motion ratio = Wheel spring rate

Stock 335i example.....
E.g. 145lb/in * 0.96^2 = 134 lb/in
E.g. 460 lb/in * 0.563^2 = 146 lb/in

Tein S tech
191lb/in 0.96^2 = 176 lb/in
593 lb/in * 0.563^2 = 188 lb/in

In both instances a 12lb/in difference front and rear.

Eibach pro for reference:
148lb/in * 0.96^2 = 136lb/in
456lb/in * 0.563^2 = 145lb/in

For me theres no question around the quality, TEIN are perfectly good quality wise, although not as good as the Eibach.. but the drop is too subtle with the Eibach for me.

The quoted drop is the same as Eibach isn't it? 35mm front & 20mm rear.

As I understood it the eibachs were 20mm front and 0mm rear. At least that's what I read for the e90 335i
Spring rates would assume this as well.

I didnt say the Quality wasnt good, I just said that the Eibachs are known to do a good job.
