18x9.5 et 22 with 265/35 fitment on e92
I知 grabbing a set of the Apex Wheels on this group buy and am torn between the rear sizes. Trying to get the most concave look rears and the choices I知 looking at is the 18x9.5 et22 or et35痴.
Will the 22 cause rubbing issues with a 265 tire? I知 Running the BMWPS springs slightly lower than stock sport suspension. Thanks |

On an E92 3-Series, the 18x9.5" ET35 wheel with a 265/35-18 tire will be a direct fit in the rear of the car. The 18x9.5" ET22 with the same tire, will sit 13mm further out than the ET35, and can occasionally come in contact with the rear fenders. Your ride height and specific tire selection will be the main contributing variables for any rubbing that might occur with this setup. If you are planning on running a performance-focused tire (which typically runs a bit wider than what the specs suggest), you will more than likely need to roll your rear fenders with the 18x9.5" ET22. Even though the BMW Performance springs offer a very mild drop, due to how aggressive the 18x9.5" ET22 sits, you will probably encounter some rubbing under compression without rolled fenders. In ARC-8 spec, the 18x9.5" ET35 and the 18x9.5" ET22 are both "Profile 3" wheels, with the deepest concavity wheel faces available on the ARC-8. If you are worried about rubbing, or are against rolling your rear fenders, I would suggest the 18x9.5" ET35 as an easier-to-fit alternative. Please let me know if you have any questions. -Geirsen

I had 18x9.5et22 on my E92 with 255/35/18 tires. With coilovers, I still need to roll my fenders and max out rear camber to ~3*. Looked great, but had a little too much camber for my taste. I recommend going with the et35 offset instead.
