NEED N54 DP Fix ASAP

hey, i'm in the NYC area & need the bms dp fix. if anyone has one they are selling, contact me ASAP. i purchased it but never got around to installing & now its been misplaced. thanks.

youl still pass, just go in there right after you cleared out the codes and set it to map 0

That does set his car into car readiness. It will not work.

Richurd, thats what i remember reading about: "The wired DPFix sets the readiness which fools the OBD-II reader that the emissions tech has. The internal DPFix just clears any CEL codes that may display."

Close enough. It doesn't set the readiness, but it prevents the car's DME from throwing the code, which prevents the readiness monitors from setting. In PA, without readiness monitors set, you don't pass inspection. I bet it's the same in NY.

yeah i had a feeling it wasnt that simple. i know i had asked about it prior to buying the dp fix. damn, i wish i saw your sale sooner.
