A few codes but which logic tree will work

Was driving my new commuter car, a 335d, and several codes suddenly popped up. The background on the car is as follows, alphabet delete done, CBU recently done, JR tune.

I had the following codes upon start up and a rough idle

459B - Rough controller cylinder #5
4530 - The infamous vacuum control code

After babying the car from work to the highway and driving 20 mins home the SES light came on. Luckily I was only a few blocks from the house. I then read the codes again and this time I had the original 2 plus

4596 - Smoothness control cylinder 3
4595 - Smoothness control cylinder 6
4CE2 - Misfire detect cylinder 5

So the question goes, is this more likely a vac problem or an actual injector problem, albeit cylinder 5 injector? Im going to test the injector today with a multimeter as I think that is all I can do for that with what I have.

The reason Im thinking it is a vacuum issue is the 4530 code. Ive read other posts that 459B was triggered due to vacuum and either new vac lines or an intercooler boot fixed that.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Did they reset the injector adaptations properly after the CBU? I've heard of a lot of injector codes post CBU that were caused by not resetting it properly following the cleaning.

Someone else will chime in but I believe the following needs to be reset:
-increment wheel
-zero quantity
-mean quantity
-mass air flow

No it isnt that. I did the CBU and while I was doing I had the DDE sent to Andrew/Jarek for a tune. Came back, installed, car ran great with no codes for a few weeks.

Pulled the manifold today and resistance tested all injectors. 5 and 6 came back way out of range but only 5 was actually throwing a code. I read a post by OmahaDZL about he has his injectors flow and resistance tested and 2 of his failed resistance testing with no codes as well and Bosch basically said replace it now or later you will anyway. So I have 3 injectors laying around from a donor car that I know are known to be good so I am moving forward with replacing 5 and 6 with 2 of those.

Sound like Im on the right track?

Now I know I have to code the injectors after I install them. What my question is will I have to reset the following as well or no:

-increment wheel
-zero quantity
-mean quantity
-mass air flow

Replace bad injectors. Code them in. Properly bleed the system. Reset all four adaptations. Go through a proper zero quantity learn in procedure.

Awesome. Thank you.

In terms of properly bleed the system, is there a DIY on this or does this involve just priming the system with EDIBAS?

Is there info on resetting all the adaptions. I havent used ISTA-P in quite a while.

Really appreciate the help.

Curious, what do you mean by proper zero qty learn?

Procedure calls for after adaptations been reset. Engine has to be at operating temperature. Overrun phase is when you are at zero throttle and engine is between 1500 to 2500rpm. Accelerate, overrun. Ten times.

Sounds good. I was looking more for a step by step or at least where to find to reset adaptations. I'll look through it and post back if any questions.

Installing injectors today.
