In London

Hello all,
I'm in London for business, I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good places to have a pint and sample the nightlife for Tuesday or Wed. night. I'd love to meet some of the London e9x members and I know there has to be a ton because I see a 335i about every other block! I’m staying in Kensington but can make my way around the tube.
Cheers,
-Curt

Upper street, Islington

plenty of decent bars and night life

Bar Atlantic in Leicester Square is a really nice place to chill out and have few drinks, you'll need a few bob though.

Porterhouse in Covent Garden is a fave with me.

Always busy and a great range of beers (for somethign different try Frulli!)

Theres a fair few places on that road too (Maiden Lane).

I love Frulli!!!
There is something that shouldn't be right about drinking strawberry beer, but it is just soooooooooo good.

If you want a decent meal with a vast range of beers, try Belgo's (also in Covent Garden).

I like Waxy O'Connors for a lively drink, and it's 30 seconds stroll from China town if you want a good meal. Navaho Joe's is also quite a lively place for a beer or two.

For those who havent tried Frulli... think of it as drinking watered down strawberry jam with alcohol.

Its brilliant - and im sure it counts as one of your 5 a day!

If you haven't found this out yet, there isn't a shortage of pubs in London, many very good ones just around Piccadilly Circus.

A lot of these places are located in essux, I donno if I want to venture that far, anything closer to central or western London besides piccadilly? All I have with me are my suits, so some place that people really dress up to go to would be good.
