Wink ► ► ► UK9 - Peak District - Weekend of 27th/28th March (Photos from p10)◀ ◀ ◀

Based on the previous UK9 thread, we now have the following members interested in attending:

1. Viv
2. Tone
3. PJS
4. mjh93sa
5. RagingKileak
6. Paul
7. flyfs6
8. sheps
9. zltm089
10. Mega TBC (Just sat)
11. Palmnuts (definite as long as it's not the 6th/7th)
12. JLR1969
13. Paul -M3-fast for sat night/sunday day (But can't do the 20/21st weekend)
14. TMP
15. AlanQS
16. Beemerbird
17. Willhollin
18. SteveA
19. Carlos
20. ed335d
21. SJ & TV
22. Dougie + other half

Tony & I have looked at possible locations & hotels & have had the idea of starting off at the Best Western Leewood Hotel, Buxton (as in UK5 2008), driving up to Snake Pass & then driving down to the Derwent Valley for photos & then back again to Buxton. Or we could start at the eastern side of the Snake Pass and make the destination the hotel in Buxton. We could do it any way you like.

The reason for staying in Buxton again is the ease of parking the cars (there was a huge amount of space for cars) and also accessibility to forum members from across the country. Buxton makes a great base from which to explore other parts of the Peak District that we have not driven as a group.

Some members will be making the trip up on Friday March 26th, whilst others will be coming up on the Saturday.

On the Sunday, we will have a drive in the morning, with the aim of arriving for a good lunch at about 1pm in a country pub. Everyone can make their way home after that. We will be making arrangements with the hotels for a group booking. Estimated cost will be around £65 per single room, or about £85/90 for a twin. We hope!!

In the meantime, ideas please!!!

What about a meal at a Chinese restaurant then you run around in comedy pants chased by Carlos whilst I dry hump him at every possible opportunity?

As long as there isn't a wedding reception on again there should be room.
