2006 BMW 325i
Long-time forum reader and occasional poster here selling my 2006 BMW 325i. California car since new for all but one year - high mileage at 241400 miles. I use the car to get between SF and LA/SB often. in SF, it's always garaged. I have all paper service records/receipts available since new, can send PDF summary to interested buyer. Since 200k miles (November 2018) I've spent $10k on maintenance, including: new battery, new alternator, new front TC bushings, 4 new tires, new coolant expansion tank, new wheels, new sunroof headliner and new starter. Bridgestone Turanza rear tires (installed 7/2020), Hankook front tires (installed 12/2020). Valve cover gasket, EGR Valve gasket & VANOS actuator gasket replaced in 11/2016 at 185k miles. The good: well-equipped with bluetooth, heated power lumbar seats, walnut wood trim/grey leather, rain-sensing wipers, adaptive xenon headlight, AUX input and sunroof. I repainted the front bumper in June 2021 and i repainted the interior door handles in December 2020. I added Style 162 wheels in 2020 (original style 159 wheels come with sale) and the car will come with fitted weathertech floormats, OEM BMW trunk mat and OEM BMW sunshade. Owner's manual and 2 keys are also included. Installed SunTek ceramic tint all the way around (25%) in 2017 and wrapped roof rails in black. The bad: 241k miles. Slight leak in radiator (i have only had to add coolant once in last 8k miles, shop is aware). slight leak on power steering hose per recent service (chassis inspection performed at 241k miles). Paint peeling on rear seat AC console and under handbrake. Wheels were bought used and have curb rash. Car was sideswiped at low speed by a motorcycle in 2016 - no substantial damage and insurance paid to repaint most of the car (aside from the hood, roof and trunk). Hood paint has some rock chips. I love this car and planned to keep as it's great for SF, but looking to get into something bigger and newer with AWD. i have serviced the car at Phaedrus MD for the last 3.5 years - you are welcome to arrange a PPI there at your expense. I can send more photos & maintenance record info on request. Hoping that this well-loved 325 goes to a fellow BMW enthusiast! |
