Reliable shop in Baltimore County
I recently purchased a used 2009 328i wagon and am looking for a shop or mechanic close to Baltimore County (Columbia area).
The closest ones seem to be BMW in Catonsville, or Blue Ridge Sports Cars. Baltimore Bimmer and Autowerkes are a little further out. Any recommendations or experience with these places? I've dm'd CLEM (Adam), cause I think he's close to me, but haven't heard back yet. Is there a day to contact him directly? Thank in advance |

Stage 2 Help :)
Recently purchased a 2012 N55 335xi, it came with a AFE performance intake already installed. I am looking for a reliable shop (Baltimore County) that can install a chip tune (jb4), boost gauge, and performance exhaust! If there are any parts missing from this list to help my car reach stage 2 please let me know. I am almost sure I am missing 2-3 things required.... Looking for a friendly, reliable, and reasonably priced shop to help out! Thanks to anyone with suggestions!

Airport Automotive by BWI. The owner of the shop owns a 335D and has owned every version of the 3 series at one point in time or another. Really knows his stuff.

I've had a number of items repaired at Autowerkes and they are very knowledgeable and upfront. They are pleasant to deal with, but they are on the expensive side. I will generally take my car there if I can't get to my personal mechanic in Glen Burnie or for insurance claims.
Baltimore Motor Works is also a great shop. The owners name is Keith and he takes his job very seriously. They have a small staff, so although the work is great it may take a little longer than normal. |
