335i n54 tuning ECU
Hi all,
What would you recommend for 335i ECU tuning, I am researching into this and would like to buy a piggy back device, there are quite a few options out there, what are you using / pro's / cons. I've heard good things about the JB4. where are the mappers / Tuners in the UK for N54 Engines? any recommendations ? Thank you! |

ok thanks very much, wow, this is crazy to believe an APP has overtaken the tuning game for n54/ n55s! must be pretty reliable and safe if a lot of you guys have gone for this option.
thanks again! |

Well its a proper ECU flash, rather than the Jb4.
MHD is great. Once you change turbos then you want a custom tune which you can do through MHD. I recently fitted 17T turbos and it made 565bhp and nearly 800nm on the dyno. |

Appreciate that the JB4 is providing boost safety when it interferes with my Map 5 use when it detects something of concern, but it sure is annoying! Not sure if MHD use provides an adequate level of safety in this regard?

There are several safeties mapped in by tuners, OTS maps are also pretty safe and conservative
