exactly, i dont care about adaptives (even though they are sweet), I just want the looks and advantage of xenon lighting.
Longtran: can you give me a good deal on your lights? I guess I'll figure out the harness and reprogramming on my own. Thank you all for helping!!

Please correct me if i'm wrong but i've been tryin to find a switch from halogen to xenon and its like running around in circles. Anyone who has done this please help us felllow E90 owners who made a mistake by not getting xenons.....
From what i've read you can make the switch.... 1. if you buy the headlights with ballasts, bulbs, and wiring harnesses (plug and play) 2. then You must go to the dealer and have your computer re-programmed because of different wattages of bulbs Is this all? What will not work.... 1. adaptive headlights 2. auto-levelling please correct me if i forgot something |

ahh thanks for the info golf I think our options are limited...I did not get xenons either so im guessing i got halogens and you know i really hate the orange brow on our headlights and im seeing the only way to rid that is with the euro lights that are 1800$ thats ridicouls..I just want the orange clear or silver or something else..Anyhow I just read the thread on Longs discovery of brex's and will hold off for know. Maybe LONG u can put some xenons in my halogen lights u want to try?

The adaptive and auto-leveling will not work unless you buy the retro fit kit. The kit is expensive ($1299) and not worth it, in my opinion. |

no i dont think you do need auto-leveling, from waht ive read you can aim the lights yourself so no worry, i think us owners without xenons could care less about that stuff right now, xenon without auto-leveling and adaptive features is way better than no xenon
