stuck wheel nuts - any tips or tricks?

hi guys - I've come to take me wheel nuts off today and they just aren't budging... seems like they might have been over tightened when the garage did my brake pads or I'm just being a pu55y

either way I need them off, does anyone have any tips to get these moving? I've tried rinsing them in WD40 but it hasn't made any difference.

All I have is the standard socket bar.... help please!

You could try a little heat on the nuts

Have you got a breaker bar or a long bar to put over for more leverage if you don't fancy taking it to the garage?

Breaker bar / long bar

I have an extendable one that pulls out and doubles in size. Never ever failed me.

First thing to try before a bar is to put your current one on horizonally pointing to 9 o'clock, then use your foot/stand on it.
If that doesn't work then go for a longer bar! More chance with that than an air gun tbh

If you're buying sockets, get the wheel socket that's got a nylon outer cover and is deeper.
