Brake light went on
It is definately the light for the sensors.. How do I tell if it is the front sensor that went off or the rear ones? The rear pads look thin but the front look a bit better?
Just wanna know if i have to do front and rear or just the rears.. Thanks |

Usually the rears go first. So, I would replace the rears first. It happened to me.

When you brake you would want to front to slow down first rather then the rear because you can easily fishtail |

Just scroll through your menu using the stalk and see which one displaying ____ for the mileage left before service.

When I asked out of curiosity the Dealer stated it is due to the traction control system and other electronic 'nannies' that use the brakes to control the car & is normal for rear pads to wear faster...

Question. My brake light went on stating I need my front pads replaced. I went ahead and just did the reset through the stalk without changing my pads. Now it says both my front and rear pads need replacing.
My rears were replaced not to long ago so I know they dont need to be replaced. My question to you all is, by changing just the front pads and front sensors, does the system re-calculate the pad life on both front and rears ?
