Yeah, with the n54 intake you loose a lot of low end tq vs the 3 stage, but she likes to breath up top. I think I posted a thread some time ago with the dyno graphs 3 stage vs n54.

220wtq is still more than a stock 330i - so I don't see that being 'bad' for a street car.

I'd rather have 13 more tq at 3900 rpm than 20 more hp at 6700rpm. I don't bang the rev limiter every time I drive and shift.

Yeah, I drive it 'like I own it' and not 'like I stole it'.
There must be a whole 'nother world out there from 5000 to 7000 rpm. I haven't lived there yet. |

The stock system is pretty quiet, even with headers. It gets loud as the RPMs climb with the PE muffler ... louder than I'd like for the street ... but I haven't switched back. |

I switched back from the new AA tune to BPC tune cuz BPC provided more low end TQ even thou AA tune was much smoother than BPC. |

It's one thing to not go there all the time, but if you're *never* going to go above 5k RPMs, why not get a diesel?

My point was, the stock 330i already has plenty of low end that makes DDing it enjoyable, and the torque curve with the N54 manifold is still better - so its not exacly a "torque loss", and i doubt you would ever know (especially coming from a 325 or 328 that are lucky to break 190ft-lbs).

Lets say I did all these same mods on my e90,
6spd with the same bolt ons, same car. Should I expect the same gains? I was thinking based on reading all these reviews. They're all dyno tunes but most of us in this forum receive our tunes through email, makes me think?!?! Input would be greatly appreciated. I completely understand dyno tunes are better. I just want to know is the difference that significant.. |

Whats up guys. I plan on putting my 2007 BMW 328i on the dyno to do comparisons between the two tunes. My setup currently : AA Headers (no cats no resonator), 3IM, AFE CAI, MILVS, Air Scoops and AA tune while running 4 1/2 gallons of E85 mix with 93 octane. Once thats complete i will run a dyno with BPC Tune and post the results.

Yes that's the plan. After i do that i will see about adding on the N54 IM and TB with BPC tune. I spoke with them via email and had mentioned to me that they are able to get 15 extra whp with a 70% E85 mix. Super excited. Hopefully everything goes as plan.

Well folks just received an update from Eurocharged Performance in Houston. There Dyno is down. For some reason it is hard to find a shop that can or knows how to Dyno a BMW the right way. Eurocharged was my best bet. Anyone have any ideas of a shop they know that's good here in Houston?
