Interested in buying a 2007 328i
Hello everyone, I am new obviously. I've been researching prices, using everything from galves, to kkb, to nada, and trying to find a sweet spot where a dealer would accept my offer.
I would like to hear from some recent buyers and see what they got, where they got it from. I am not worried about traveling anywhere from central florida and down. I live in Miami. I had a rude experience at Braman Biscayne. Sales guy didn't entertain the offer, and didn't even approach the sales manager. When I emailed the sales manager he decided to defend the actions of the sales guy, and claim he was spoken to, which was highly impossible since he never left the side of the car when I made the offer. Second attempt was Sarasota BMW, I inched my way up from my offer, and we settled, on 19,100 and I explained that since it was already late in Saturday I wouldn't be able to go to the bank and get a check cut. Monday comes along, i request the purchase order to be faxed, they went against the price and said it was too low, and wanted the advertised internet price. So i had left the bank empty handed, and embarrassed that i wasted my loan officer's time, but she was understanding and told me to take my time. Anyways. Anyone have any good experiences with some of the managers. sorry for the stories might have been too long.. So am I unrealistically thinking I can get it at in the 19 range plus tag tax title? [This is my first BMW purchase] |

Seems like whenever the sales guy or sales manager asks where I come up with such a low figure and I mention the galves price + whatever i think the dealer did to get the car ready they give up on me, and end negotiations.
If anyone's in Miami, and want to PM me and help me through be a better haggler. it would be appreciated. This is my first big ticket expense, been pre approved, just need to stay in the 2005+ under 75k miles conditions of the loan. I could afford the sticker price, but that wouldn't really benefit me as in a sense of being an aggressive consumer. |

When i picked mine up it was my first BMW purchase as well and i picked it up between the 20k to 25k marker. My 3 came with 51k miles on it and pretty much has everything but the Navigation system. I'd be happy to lend you a hand, feel free to PM me and i will shoot you my number.
Cheers! |

My recommendation would be to stay away from dealers. Just because there a pain to negotiate the price down , and all the stupid dealer fees they thrown in. Try to find a private seller that's your best bet.

I've been lurking around the forum for the past few weeks and I finally decided to join today. I just bought an 09 328i "executive demo" for $26k. They're still considered new cars and you still get the full warranty. I'd look into that if you can afford it. I think it's a hell of a deal too.

You can check out http://www.offleaseonly.com they got some good prices from when I was looking for a used car before but no CPO. They got some now for less than 19k 4 door. Not really sure about the reputation of the dealer tho I would do a little research first.
