How intense is your emissions? OBDII testing can be done without.

I think a lot of people including me are using VRSF DP's and MHD tune.
But get the best option you can afford.

I just ordered VRSF DPs. Was going to go with MMP downpipes but heard mixed things on their gaskets. So I went with VRSF which had positive reviews in terms of fitment and sealing.

They are avant garde m359, as for the stockers they are going to become my all season set for when winter rolls around.

Door Trim Clip Issue

Hello - so I swapped out my IS trim with carbon fiber and am having problems keeping the door pieces inserted. I've tried (new) two different part numbers of trim clips and both have failed.

Has anyone had to replace their door trim clips and if so, which part number did you use?

Thank you

Do you have stock exhaust?

I really wanna hear how stock exhaust with DP sound.

I want to make my exhaust overall louder and more aggressive. And downpiping since I was tuning so may do a 2 in 1.

Anyone know a good color code to fix mirror cap chips or even window trim?

I'm thinking of getting some Jet black touch up to at least make it no eye grabbing..

hey guys, hoping to get some opinions from you 335is owners. shopping for a 335i now and it appears the 335is is going for a good 5k or more over a standard 335. After owning one, do you guys feel like its worth the extra money?

I would daily it with some track use. from what ive read the only benefits would be the stronger clutch and better cooling. I would get a tuner so the extra power isn't that big of a deal.

thoughts?

If you tune it, you can accomplish the same results with a 335i, so it's not special anymore.

You should get the 335is for the styling, stiffer engine mounts, stronger clutch, and dct.

If you're shopping a '11-'13 335i against a '11-'13 335is the first major difference is the engine. The 335is came with the N54, the regular 335i has the N55. It's the only way you can get the N54 after the 2010 model yr in a E9x. That and the availability of a DCT make it worth the premium.

Having owned both, the 335is is better all around. The DCT is a great transmission, the styling, extra cooling and motor mounts are better on the 335is.

For me, it was having the N54 engine in the newer LCI model, all the other goodies were just a plus (m bumpers, anthracite headliner, special trim, etc.).

The DCT is a great reason to purchase the 335is over a 335i, but I stuck with the manual. My car performs exactly the same after tuning, maybe a little faster due to the better-flowing iS exhaust.

thanks for the responses. I think the regular 335i is probably a better option for me. this car will be used for drift events, so manual. Also, I think I prefer the n55 for being a bit simpler.

First post, looking to get some CF pieces soon. Lowered on H&R sport springs.

I am looking for references on who has the Arkym lip. Where did you purchase it and are you happy with the quality? I am looking at the CF side skirts extensions and a spoiler as well.

Looks good lowered.

I have the Arkym lip from R W Carbon.
Fitment is okay but not perfect. I would recommend two or three people to help push it in place and get some longer screws. The ones that come with it are only good where it butts up flat but you need to screw into some longer areas.
