:: BMR Autowerkes :: ST Coilovers

Hey guys,

we're proud to offer ST Coilovers to the E9X crowd, these are quality German made coilovers available at a great price!

Two models available:

ST X - height adjustable only RRP $1,429
ST XA - height and damper adjustable RRP $1,719

As some of you may/may not know, these coilovers are actually made by KW in Germany so they are v similar to a KW V1/V2 coilover. The only difference being the use of galvanised steel as opposed to stainless steel.
They re-use your original top hats so they won't knock or make noise like other coilovers.

Plenty of stock available overseas, most orders will ship in 8-10days.

German quality. Affordable price!

As a forum special use coupon code "bimmerpost22" on checkout to receive an exclusive online only discount

Any Qs let me know

FWIW galvanised steel is more than enough 'protection' for most Australian climates, the inox stainless steel construction of the premium KW's is mainly for european conditions (snow/salt roads)

According to ST, 50mm more than Msport, should be more than enough low

Installing a set of XAs tomorrow on an E92 will post pics.

I just want to lower a bit further the front, with the m-sport suspension, there is still a very large gap between the fender and the tyres. I saw people having a narrower gap.
I think lowering a further 2cm from m-sport suspension is ok?
Also, I want to have even ride height, currently having rear right lower than left.

Having an even ride height with coilovers won't be a problem

That was a factory backed sale so unfortunately nothing on the horizon. Feel free to PM/email for the best price on KWs though

Couple quick shots (taken inside the workshop as it's raining outside)

The front can be lowered ~30mm more
The rear can be lowered ~20mm more.

I am expecting the front to settle just a little bit more, perhaps 5mm.

Drove it back (on Parramatta rd) from getting the wheel alignment, as these are the XAs with adjustable damping, on the middle setting the ride is only just a tad firmer than Msport, initial impressions are v impressive

Looks good!
Does this car lowered by 20mm from M sport suspension?
Any spacers on these rims? 5mm? 10mm?
I think it looks even better with spacers.

For pre set damper ST-X, how's the ride compared to M sport?

Do we really need to buy a new rear bushing as stated in the video? It said bmw recommends replacing the bushing.

Yes lowered about 20mm from M sport
No spacers - just fatter Michelin PSS tyres
The ST X will be a little bit firmer than M sport.

As long as your bushings are ok (and 99% of the time they are) they can be re-used.

With the member special, you can get it less than $1400 shipped.
I recall it is only $35 to ship to WA when I checked it few days ago.
I am going to get one too, just need some extra time to raise the money for it. Lol
Just hope that the coilover and the discount will still available.
Having too much to buy recently not just for my car.

Also checked that installation is around $550 here in WA.
Don't want to try installing it myself since it is a very important part of the car.
I don't want to risk my life while I am driving at 100km.
Better get it installed professionally.
