E91 Tailgate hinge broken
I've costed a new one at £100, not worth messing around with a used one. Does anyone know if this is a DIY job to replace?

Many thanks! Unfortunately I can’t help you out with your original question I’m hoping it’s a bit of a DIY job, just not sure how difficult it will be getting the alignment correct

I've got a good used right hand one if any good, I bought both from a car that the tailgate and glass opened perfectly, really light to touch. I only needed to replace one of mine and now mine is amazing, it wasn't even this easy to open when I bought it haha! I'm in West Yorkshire.

Ok if it helps, Cotswold price for the left hinge is £93.30 posted with the discount, I had a quote last month when mine broke
The bootlid is amazing now, you can open the top glass with just a fingertip and it holds itself up, it surprises me every time I use it! Thanks James |
