Price on vinyl wrapping the whole car?

For all you lucky guys and gals that have vinyl wrapped your entire car, what is the average price for this job?

I'm planning to do this but would like to know what people pay for this kind of job. If it matters, I live in the Boston MA area.

Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

$600-$1000 for the materials...Just Do It Yourself to save some money. If you're not a DIY guy, watch some tips on youtube. Then do a small sample & you will find out that it's not that difficult. I helped a friend who's afraid to do it & after watching me, he start doing some by himself. I'm quite surprised that he did an excellent job. Don't rush it, do one panel at a day or whenever you feel like doing it. It doesn't matter if your car will look odd with different materials while driving. But after you wrapped your entire car, it will be rewarding.

I can't believe anybody does this. The time, money, and sometimes horrible outcome.

It also maintains your resale value and protects the original paint...in whatever condition it may be.

Does nothing for resale. I also hope you mean that is maintains it when you remove the wrap. If you think the wrap adds value you're crazy

I'm sure he meant maintains the paint for when you sell it and remove the wrap.

It maintains resale in that you have the Original factory paint under neath. Repainting any panel will decrease value.

Totally depends on the place and the materials. I got a quote the other day for $900 including materials. They do great work.

There is no way any reputable shop will do the job including materials for $900. $2500 - $4000 is what you should expect
