Probably closer to a month and a half- two months. At least you're getting what you want!

I've had my car for about a week and a half. Took about 5 1/2 weeks from purchase to actual delivery to me.

My diesel arrived at the dealer yesterday morning and I'm scheduled to pick it up tomorrow (August 24th) in the evening. It will be exactly 4 days under 3 months from order to pick up; ordered May 28th, will pick up August 24th.

Just swapped my old order for one that's already been produced and shipped. Production date of June, hasn't even gotten to the dealer yet. Looks like the wait is over 2 months for shipping here too...

How long does it take for the vehicle to go into production once you get the production number. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I got the production number and it still has no confirmed production date according to the 800 phone number and the website.

Thanks

Make sure you are talking to a human when you call the 800 number. The recording is generally several days behind and the website is worse. Your car may already be built.

That is a LONG waiting time.

They told me I will get the car in the middle of October. It will be 4 weeks since I got the production number on Monday and more than 5 weeks since the order was placed. And they are still saying the production date is undetermined.

But on the website the picture changed from a generic white sedan to the proper m-sport space gray image. Hopefully the status will change soon.

Finally I was told that the production is expected to be completed in 5 days. I guess it will be another 1.5 months or so until I get the car.
