Is it the high pitched whining noise you are concerned about?

I had a similar noise on mine which turned out to be the serpentine belt idler. As the care had done over 140,000 miles at the time I replaced the belt, idler and tensioner. It turned out that only the idler was shot.

Could also be normal turbo whine?

Since the sounds starts at higher rpms, it might be turbo or a vacuum leak somewhere.

Sounds like a small exhaust gas/air leak I'd check turbo, downpipe connections etc.

Have you done an Obd type log?

I wil check all connection and hoses. The only thing I done was to change the vacum hoses and check actuators working fine. After that I started noticing it
Does yours not make this sound, it's not as loud as video. Just when you opn bonnet and just blip throttle say 1/4 way pedal down you hear it like a chhhh air releasing sound. I though it may be wastage sound which is more notable with no dpf

What's an obd type log?

Does it sound like a duck quacking? If yes then go for the egr pressure converter

It will be the EGR pressure converter converter then. Check to see if the noise disappears when vacuum hose from EGR valve is clamped. Search the forum also for "duck" or "quack".

If it's a duck/quack type noise then it will be egr related.

As I had the quack noise on my X5 that suddenly appeared at point of purchase.

The seller agreed to get it sorted under his BMW warranty, which he did.

I took it to BMW and they sorted it by replacing the egr.

The bill was around £500 but luckily was covered by the warranty!!

cheapest option for OP would first be to go to the controller IMO. it happened to me. had quacking and changed pressure converter for EGR and it stopped quacking.

Easiest test would be to clamp the hose coming out of the egr and try and replicate the noise.
