Question UR Downpipes & Smog Issues

Hey guys,

I am a proud own of a 2007 E90 335i, whose warranty just expired (sob). The good news about my warranty expiring, however, is that now I can waste my money on UR downpipes and other fun products without fear of losing my warranty.

I am looking at the UR catless and high flow downpipes... and had a couple questions:

1.) Are these going to ruin my ability to get my car smogged for sure? Anyone care to share their experience with downpipes & it's effect on smogging?

2.) If my car fails smog, is it pretty simple to remove the downpipes, smog, and put them back on? I remember my friend saying something about him having to drive around for 200 miles to reset his computer or something... will I have to do the same to pass smog?

Any info or advice on coming up in the downpipe game will be appreciated.

Thanks!
