^ I believe the weird capitalization thing is a "feature" on the iphone that people forget to turn off.

Also, My friend's E46 ZHP has the gloss black trim and gloss kidney grills and it looks great. Whenever I see matte black, I think cheap spray paint. Probably from when the whole matte-black/flat-black craze started quite a few years back as cheap paint jobs on beater cars. Now it's become the cool new "style"

I agree with mike-y; it looks cheap to go with flat that's why I chose gloss.

Achenator, your M3 looks sick; love what you did with the gloss black additions. It would have looked unfinished in flat black; keeping it classy after all it's a BMW not a Honda.

Sinister E92; love it all black.

Any plans to go with gloss black shadow line trim? I think it would set it off.

Do it! you won't regret it. I did mine myself, just be sure to prime and clearcoat it properly and you'll have no problem with rock chips. Had mine for a while and still in pristine condition.

I have a theory with the glossy/matte on black cars. First and foremost, you obviously want to match the grill with the trim. Second, if you have a Black Sapphire Metallic BMW, matte black trim and grill are a nice subtle contrast since this the car itself gives off a shiny, well metallic look. As for Jet Black, glossy trim and grill will do the same because of the flat black look of Jet black.

I personally have BSM and plan on using matte black (trim's getting done this weekend and ordering the grill soon). No matter what color you have, you can't go wrong with either. My 2 cents.

me myself have a black car, I really like the stock silver trim for the windows and grill, I really don't like the black-out theme, it looks mean and all but you can't really see the details.

I'm a fan of the matte look for the contrast. Gloss is nice but IMO the matte differentiates from the rest of the car.
