Ride quality between stock and v1 is like night and day. Well worth the money. One thing to consider is the ride height. The back in the picture is at max height so if you want it any higher then you are pretty much out of luck.

I decided to go with Broadway static coilovers. I heard many good things about them. I wish there was more xi owners that had them to post up pics. I would've went with kwv1s but I heard they don't go too low. I kinda want mines pretty low without killing the ride and I heard BWS do that so I think I might just pull the trigger on these. My car is sitting on h and r springs right now with style 95 19x10 and squared and I have to say having 19x10 squared is pretty nice. I just can't wait til I install these BWS.

Be careful if you go too low on xi. That is generally not recommended from BMW and from what I read in the german forums.

I don't think BMW recommends that you alter the car in any way - aside from their own parts.

the front suspension geometry is different on an XI to allow for the front drive shafts and ground clearance for the transfer case. That is prolly the biggest concern with going too low is damaging either.

absolutely......its the guys who slam it that may end up having issues. The V1s are a great choice.

I'm running H&R Coilovers on my 330xi

Just FYI, KW coilovers can be set low enough that they are outside of the valving range. This will blow the strut/shock and void the warranty.

Why KW even gave you the ability to this, is beyond me....

You will stress the front CV joints for the axles if the ride height is set too low.

With that being said, my axles are pointed upward, like this, \_/.

Been fine since 82k miles and I am at 120k now.

Does anyone have any pictures of cars lowered on the V1's WITHIN KW's spec? Everything I've seen on this site seems to be at roughly the same height while people complain they can't get the front any lower. I can only assume they're not within spec...

These go low man.. Fronts can go lower and my rears can go lower as well. Tucking tire and rim if I wanted to.
