I have a 2011 335i with the N55 engine. It has 123,000 miles on it so I have been reaping the reward of poor maintenance from the previous owner. I've recently replaced the alternator, battery, battery wire harness, water pump, charge pipe, and a few other small maintenance repairs.

ISSUE:

Currently when it is in idle (or low RPM) it makes this super loud whining noise. It will sound good, lose some power (RPM's go down to 450) then bounced back up (1k RPM) then back at idle at 650. While it does that it makes the noise (video attached below) It has thrown me a few error codes (listed below) and I think I'm going to have to take the valve cover off and get a new valvetronic motor. I just wanted to see if any of y'all have had this issue or have any advice. Thanks!

Ps. It does have a MHD stage 1 tune. However the problem occurred before I tuned it and then just recently came back about a week after tuning it.

2DEA, 2DE6, 2DCE, and a 2DD0 shadow code.
