I know I've gotta make some minor tweaks to it...sort out an oil leak...get a HALO seat and scoot the current driver's seat over to the right side. Not to mention learn the eccentricities of oil/pad/camber changes on that species of M3.

When I bring it home to NOLA next month it'll be game on.

Grant do you have an SSK still?

The car needs the detent spring re-done it's got the 5th gear lean of death issue and it's probably due for bearing/bushing replacement in the linkage there is some play. Would be easy to throw an ssk in there I believe it only had the Z3 shifter or it might even be stock
Easy stuff that isn't so expensive to knock out, it's a great car. Be careful Jay on a wet surface it'll blow the tires right off in 2nd gear!

Yep, basically brand new rogue octane SSK with the WGSR included. Would be a nice local sale. It would certainly make it feel much better.

Lean of death doesn't sound too promising. Grant's SSK sounds like the way to go...always stay in 3rd gear...got it, thanks for the advice Ian.

Yeah, its a nice kit. It will get rid of a lot of slop and add some confidence to your shifting. Unless it has a new differential, you'll only be in 3rd and 4th at NOLA.

2K out of warranty and BH BMW wants $2000.000
Check engine soon light came on and I have been told that my valve cover gasket needs replacing. It is cracked. They never see this needing replacement but guess I am the lucky one. Maybe I just ignore it? Or take it for an estimate elsewhere.

The valve cover itself is cracked. I found one online for $380 But I talked with the SA and he is trying to get the whole thing comped for me.....
