Early CIC map updates
Hi Guys
Just wanted to say if you have an early CIC nav system in your car and you have not yet had the firmware updates so that you have the tick or i showing in the bottom left you do still update via USB not DVD. I have read numerous threads that say if you have the CIC nav and don't have the tick then you have to get a firmware update before you can update via USB. This is incorrect. My car is a 59 plate LCI with pro nav and I have just updated via USB with no problem at all. The only thing I found you do need to do is make sure the USB stick is formatted to FAT32. Hope this helps some fellow CIC users with early systems. |
