318i E90 N46 - Valvetronic / Vanos help
Hi Guys,
having some problems with mil lights and more than my fair share of faults at the moment (just hit 100k). Hoping someone can shed some light on the subject. had the following faults and intermittent limp home: 2A70 Valvetronic Servomotor 2A6B Valvetronic Power Limitation Servomotor 2A67 Valvetronic Internal Fault Replaced valvetronic motor + cleared faults. i can now see the valvetronic reacting as i would expect, closing at small pedals and opening relative to pedal position whilst in neutral. drove for a while, then got another mil... 2A70 Valvetronic Servomotor 2A6B Valvetronic Power Limitation Servomotor 2A63 Valvetronic Servomotor 1 got rid of 2A67, but the old ones have come back + another 'servomotor' fault. All fingers point towards the motor again?? As i say, in neutral after clearing the faults i can see valvetronic (and vanos) moving relative to speed and load. but whilst watching these values, then get a fault and the valvetronic opens to default position and cams lock to default position!! loooooaads of mostly useless threads about this sort of thing, but no real answer to how these faults are triggered. can anyone suggest what to try next? |
