The finished product looks awesome. Props to your hard work and dedication to see this through.

I was surprised at all the negative comments. But then again a lot of that negative feedback is derived from fellas who rock the OEM look. No surprise there.

You made this to stand out, to be different. And you definitely killed it. I request more pictures of higher quality! I'm interested in a direct side shot. The back shot looks aggressive as hell and I'm loving it.

I love creativity. I love to see original inspiring work. I have an old pre-lci trunk lying around from an accident. Has a huge dent in it so it looks like I'll be following in your steps and trying this down the road!

Thanks man! Deff took some time consuming doing, but the finished product is growing on me and I wanted something no one else had. I also did a custom front bumper that is half e90 m3 Rep and half 435i m-sport that I plastic welded together like a few vendors on here do.

Appreciate the kind words brother! Something diff that no one else had was exactly what I was going for and you’re right, half the community will call anything other than oem, “rice”. It’s a late 2000s 3 series, not a brand new ///m car lol.

Thanks man, it deff looks way better now but you may be surprised that the only thing I did was sand it with a higher grit sand paper, hit it with some filler primer and wrapped it with matching Avery Dennison Gloss blue wrap.

Lol. As stated it’s not for everyone and looking at the trend throughout the threads you have posted, you are an oem+ kind of guy. I’m the same way, the rest of the car features all parts that were offered on our cars or a spin off of a part that was offered on another bmw model. Deff was a risk and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t say “what the hell did I just do” half way through the diy, but after smoothing it out and making everything even/making it the same color, I love the final look!

With that said thanks for the feedback...I guess.....hope you found some water for you eyes!

OP, I applaud you for the time you've taken to enhance YOUR car to YOUR liking and that's what matters most, what YOU think. I agree with some, this is different, but uniqueness is what we're all after at the end of the day. Drive on OP!!

Have you considered beefier wheels/tires with aggressive offset?

Appreciate it brother! I have, the wheels that are on the car in the “finished product” pics are just some spare 17s I had while my 19” black style 437m were getting new tires mounted. I’ve always wanted some aggressive 3 piece wheels, just wanted to spend the money on several mods vs 1 set of wheels.

Do you have any concerns regarding how the wing may actually affect high-speed handling?

Sometimes in life after you ask yourself the question, can you do a thing.... you need to stop and ask should you do a thing.
