N57 EGR Delete

Hi,

Having an absolute friggin’ nightmare trying to do an EGR delete on my 325D N57. I have a dark side kit and having researched, it is nothing like the guides etc I see online, it’s a huge job!

I have clips that won’t remove and fixings that are seized. Any good guides on doing this job on the N57 specifically? Mine has the extra pipework (eg smaller dia pipe from front of cooler to inlet)

Just get a mapper to code out the function so it stays closed. No need to physically remove it and blank it. That's what I did about 60k miles ago.
