Recently purchased a 330d e91 auto wich box is very sluggish , booked car in for gearbox service end of the week then looking to get box mapped with xhp

Any advice recommendations? Looking to do that myself as works out a lot cheaper ?

Is stage 3 safe on the car ? Mainly cruise around (daily commute ) but live to play and liked idea of pure manaul mode and blips on down shift etc

all maps are safe, i have stage2 on mine and never regretted going for stage3. stage2 is perfectly fine for my driving style (similar to yours)

Had stage 3 as daily for years. Bought the multi map pack in case I changed my mind. It's still chilled enough in D and maxed in S. Stage 3 all the way and don't look back.

+1 for the stage 3, been using it on my 330i E91 daily for the last few years.
Is perfectly fine with pootling around, and great in S for some more spirited driving and the a few track days.

Stage 3 is perfect. But I'd get full map pack
Easily the best value for money mod on my 330i.
