Air mass too high, boost solenoid issue?
Hi,
I get 2774 codes logged in the DME (no CEL) on my 335i LCI, so I did some logging tonight. I'm not an expert on this, but looking at this 2-3 gear log I can see that there are some overboost. It lingers at boost when I let off the throttle and it does not meet the boost target at WOT for 2nd gear. It is also interesting that even to the throttle pedal is applied the throttle position closes, and this coincide with the overboost. I can sometimes also feel the uneven acceleration in the car, but semi-rare. I did find this thread (with logs) which seem to mimic my issue even tho my AFR does not look lean. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1627488 My Log https://datazap.me/u/wyldcard/n55-mh...=1-296&mark=96 Car info 78XXX miles MHD OTS Stage 2+ on RON95 (v1.84) 5.5" VRSF Intercooler 3,5" VRSF catted DP VRSF chargepipes PPK2 Fully dealer serviced (plugs 15000 miles) Cheers! |

Yeah it does. I thought that it had to do with the OTS map just being bad? I have had to keep the coldstart to have a higher cold idle. It’s loud as hell on startup in but otherwise it will repetedly die.
Even when its warm and I have been cruising and come to a light the idle can sometimes ”hunt” and on rare occasions instantly die. |
