n54 knocking

So, kinda embarrassing but I decided to show off and ended up hitting a ditch and messed up my bumper, but now after 30 mins the car is making a knocking noise and I am really concerned. Prior to getting stuck in a ditch, the check engine light came on so I turned the car off plugged in an obd reader and nothing showed up. Is knocking a concern?

Also, is there anyway in removing a dented bumper? It is also pushed in as well
