Misfire Cylinder 1 changed everything!!

Hello everyone,

I drive a 320i with the N43. I now have misfires on cylinder 1 for a few months.
It only happens when I am driving at around 100-120kmh or around 3000 rpm .Cold starts are fine and no problems when driving in the city.

I changed all 4 Injectors for new ones in October and coded them.
Right after that I changed all 4 ingnition coils.
One or two months later it started to misfire again. Since then I changed:
- fuel pump in the tank
- high pressure pump
- high pressure sensor
- all spark plugs (NGK)
- again all Ingnition coils (Delphi) because the ones from Bosch didn’t work anymore
- the entire engine wire harness
- swapped injector from cylinder 1 and 2

I changed everything but it keeps misfiring on cylinder 1 and now I have no idea where it comes from.

I just hope that someone has one last idea what it could be? I just want to drive my car peacefully

What fault codes is your car showing? Sounds like you've thrown parts at it based on guesswork...

It was always 29CD: Misfire Cylinder 1 and sometimes 3104: Uneven run stratified charge

And in the last two days I always got: 29F1 Fuel pressure. I checked it with bmw tool and the fault code also said p0087.

I really don’t know what could be the problem

Did you manage to fix this? I just got a 29CD and not sure what it could be. Just happened after I replaced the valve cover, spark plugs and coils.

Yes i did. The reason was that the injection valve, bracket which holds down the first two injectors in their position which was not doing its job. They are slightly bend, but this specific one was just flat so it could not hold the injector tight. The result was a moving injector and misfires. Since then the problems are gone
