Passenger Side Mirror

Hi All,

Passenger side mirror stolen from my 335i, them bastards cut the wires. I was able to find a replacement mirror with the clip and solder the wires together. It was working fine for months, then noticed it would take a half n hour to an hour to move from adjusting it to currently not moving at all. The driver side works fine. Any suggestion on what it can be or a fix?

* I plan on buying a new harness since my soldering skills suck. Hopefully that is just the issue.

Hey Go-Beema

I did use shrink tube on each wire then wrapped it in electrical tape (again my soldering skills suck). But I did notice that the mirror would go down when reversing, just can't making any adjustments using the control or the close the mirror.

Thanks for the response!

what do you meant on each wire? if youre nusing shrink tube you dont need tape. could there be wiring issue since youre saying your soldering skills arent very 'pro'?
