Bavgruppe DTM rings in E90 LCI

I bought some DTM rings from Bavgruppe and had plans of putting them into my E90 LCI headlights. I am running into a problem where the angel eyes are to tall. They are getting pushed behind the eyelid which pushes it up against the dome that covers the adaptive light. The only option is to force the angel eye underneath the eyelid which then pushes down on the headlight bezel and forces the eyelid up against the lens. Anyone ran into similar issue?

Ask Bavgruppe to send you a link to the dropbox. You need to use a dremel to trim a bit of the angel eyes.

Here's my set you can use as a reference for how they should align:
