I'm a hater? OK.

I'm just making an educated observation.

Seems like you guys only read half of the post.

I'm editing this post because its not necessary to keep arguing. I'm sorry it came out that way. Tone of voice, sarcasm, and speed of speech cannot be interpreted over the internet. I really didn't mean it in any harsh way.

hah impressive my next cg order will be placed tomorrow... what wash are you using as a day-to-day wash diluted to what ratio that :hopefully: does not strip wax?

First of all call in your order. Ask for Paul and tell him "I" Jared sent you. He will takecare of you and I know you will wish you called in your orders sooner. If he is not available just wait for him to call you back.

I just bought the EXTREME BodyWash & Synthetic Wax/Gloss Enhancer -SHAMPOO (1 Gallon) for a lighter wash for everyday use. It says "will not remove protective wax or polymer surface protectants."

You can really use any CG soap and if diluted correctly it will not strip the wax. Yet the CWG seems to be strong even when diluted due to the citrus blend.

I would recomend one cap full with a good amount of water. That should be strong enough yet not too strong.

I think some of you over indulge a bit, and I know, its all in good fun, but i've been detailing a while, and I went through this same thing of having to buy everything. In the end, i used like 3 ounces per bottle of product and either gave it away or tossed it.

I can get spectacular results with a few basic OTC stuff and the rest is bought online, but only ebcause I've tried it and it works. I know, you gotta try it to know if it works, but a $1000 dollars in products is not gonna give you the same results as the "top" detailer.
I actually kind of agree. I'm a huge detailing buff, but have gotten incredible results with mostly OTC stuff. I've done the zaino and pinnacle, etc, and they are good, but my meguiars OTC stuff looks better than pretty much everything I've tried. No flaming Technique goes a long way, product makes a difference, but not the largest. Spending 2k on a jar of wax is crazy, I can get the same/better results with some 15 dollar Tech Wax and showcar glaze.

To make all of us new detailing enthusiasts feel better, here's a pic of my modest start. Everyone's else pics are so amazing, it's just too intimidating for all us starters. I just wanted to put up mine for fun. Actually have a few more products to the left, but I'm going for the modest look hehe j/k
