Aftermarket floor mat - need help..

Need help with aftermarket floor mats..

I have a 2013 335is cabriolet. Purchased Lloyd Luxe carpet floor mats which are really nice heavy-weight (48 oz) but the Velcro on the back of the mats does not align with the factory BMW anchors in the floor. My anchors are about 11.25” apart (center to center).

If you have any e92 335 (even if not an “is” model, would you be willing to measure the distance between your factory floor mat anchors (center to center). If you’re are about 11.25” apart, please email me the year and model of your e92 (e.g., 2010 335 coupe). Maybe if I order the Lloyd mats in that year and model they will fit my car properly. Thanks!

Those velcro anchors just twist out and can be moved to wherever you want and just screwed/twisted back down.

Thanks for the reply, this was before I bought the car.

Car I purchased has the 19s 435I m wheels. Looking at other wheels options now but not to sure... really want Avant Garde m359 but not sure 18s or 19s.

19s they only do 19x9 and 19x10 while 18s have 18x8.5 ET35 and 18x9.5 ET33 which seems to be the recommended widht and offset here?

Honestly if you are only going to keep the car for another 4 months, save your money and get the F82. I own a F80 and 335iS and there is really no comparison between the 2 cars.

I'm keeping the 335is and plan to do some heavy suspension mods soon since I still love the N54 lol

To be honest I find myself driving the M3 nine times out of 10.

However the my N54 is fully modded with gunshot burbles so it's more of a hooligan/visceral experience. The N54 torque is also fun on the streets. However the pitfall is the poor handling. The car feels like a straight line boat. Hopefully the aluminum subframe bushings, TC Kline coilovers with M3 control arm bits fixes all of that.

The sound of the N54 is also amazing at all RPMs. The S55 doesn't loud good unless you are under WOT.

How did you get the crazy burples ? I want louder and more burples but not sure what route to go.

I was thinking downpipes but I feel like it won't be enough?

Downpipes + Burble Option in MHD should get you all the burbles you could want.

Arghh I know when I read that MHD burple thing wow which made me rethink JB4.

And both together would be to expensive.

So I'm really unsure between the 2.

I plan on really just downpipes and the BMS intakes as for bolt ons.

Check out ARM's downpipes for a value option, you can kit out FBO cheap through them.

Is there a specific JB4 function you are looking for?

MHD itself is pretty inexpensive for the tuning it offers, and it doubles as a logger and code reader.

$100 for the app
$50 for a map pack
$50 for cables
$50 for an android tablet if you don't have one

From purely a tuning standpoint and all extra features aside, I recommend MHD > JB4. JB4 doesn't have any control over timing and it was a night & day difference when switching to MHD. I now run JB4 + MHD BEF, you get all the perks of JB4 but also have MHD controlling the timing in the background. Acceleration is smooth all the way through the powerband and misfires have gone away.

In terms of bolt-on parts, you will need to upgrade your chargepipe to an aluminum one if you want to run any boost above stock, otherwise the OEM plastic CP becomes a ticking time bomb. Hell, they're prone to cracking even at stock boost levels.

The main thing about about the JB4 I really wanted was a 2 step but I rather have burples than 2 step as you'll do more burples in a drive.

Also the fact is auto cleared downpipe codes or at least that you could clear codes easily.

Also I read JB4 was safer and no engine damage since it didn't touch engine timing but dunno if it's true.

Shift light thing was cool to and fuel gauge hijack but except from that that's it.

For the rest, I have an Android phone, a OTG converter and the K DCAN cable

Downpipes + secondary cat delete + vibrant 1792 resonators in its place + golf tee mod = shots fired.

Significantly louder with the secondary cat delete.

People yell at me on the streets for scaring them

Correct. MHD set to aggressive burble with 2 seconds of duration in sport mode. 0.5 seconds in normal mode aka cops are around mode
